  1. “Slab Only“: This is a “green”, milled slab. It MUST be dried to 8-12% internal moisture content (%MC) before finishing; especially, if the finished product will be stored indoors in a heated space.  Available for immediate shipping/receiving.
  2. “Slab + Kiln Drying”: This is a slab vacuum-kiln dried to 8-12%MC. Nominal shrinkage and minor end checking (i.e. cracks) will occur. Available to ship following purchase after drying; usually, 6-8 weeks.
  3. “Slab + Kiln Drying + Surface Planing”: This is kiln-dried slab flat-surfaced with our planer. Expect 1/2″ to 1″ thickness loss of listed dimensions for this slab from kiln-drying and planing. Available to ship following purchase after drying and planing; usually, 6-8 weeks.

Dimensions were taken as green milled slabs and are approximate. Expect thickness loss and potential changes in the material during drying and surface planing. Often times these changes enhance the character of the slab. Dried and surface planed dimensions are accurate.

  1. Millyard pick-up: (Free) – schedule an appointment for in person pick up at our millyard in Ellettsville Indiana.
  2. Local delivery: ($150+) – Minimum charge applies to deliveries within Monroe County. We deliver up to 100 miles from Bloomington, IN. Delivery is outside the county are $2/mile round-trip.  Local delivery fees calculated upon request and schedule by appointment only.
  3. Nationwide freight shipping: (quoted upon request) – Competitive, to-your-door shipping fees calculated upon request within 48 hours following contact by our sales team.
